Are SoCast Websites Accessible?

All of SoCast's current 3 themes, 2.0, Hero 1.0, and Theme 3.0 follow WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards. This means our websites are usable and understandable for the majority of people with or without disabilities.  It is the responsibility of the website/content admin to be familiar with these standards and to use the tools provided by SoCast to help make it as accessible as possible.

This includes things like color contrast. We do our best to set appropriate levels of contrast by default, however website/content administrators have the ability to customize colors, so ultimately it’s up to them to comply in regard to color contrast.

Other ways our websites are accessible include options like consistent navigation elements, accurate labels for form fields, headings in logical order, and alt text for images.  Alt text fields are intentionally left blank, so this is up to you or your website admin to comply with.
