This article provides instructions for adding or updating your company’s default legal documentation in SoCast. This includes your Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Contest Rules, Sign-Up and Settings legal footers, and Mobile App Push Notification disclaimers.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to: http://admin.socastsrm.com/company/legal
  2. Default Privacy Statement Copy: To set up your company’s default Privacy Statement, click the “Download Template” link to obtain the MS Word document. Review and modify this document with your legal counsel before uploading it.
  3. Default Contest Rules: To set up your company’s default Contest Rules, click the “Download Template” link to obtain the MS Word document. Review and modify this document with your legal counsel before uploading it.
  4. Sign-Up and Settings Legal Footer: This is the legal copy that appears below the email subscription options on user sign-up and settings pages. Review and modify this document with your legal counsel before uploading it.
  5. Mobile App Push Notification Disclaimer: Note: This only applies to clients who have purchased our mobile app. Text formatting changes will not apply in the mobile app. Review and modify this document with your legal counsel before uploading it.
  6. Click the Save button to apply your changes.
