How Can I Turn Off The Mic Option For The App?

Permissions that are required for the app (such as the mic) cannot be turned on and off within the app settings. The app gives users the ability to compose and submit audio messages to the app, that will then show up in the app news feed and possibly used on air.

Sound is only recorded when the user wants to voluntarily submit audio.

If the device is an iOS device, then there is a way to disable the microphone for certain apps.

There is currently no option for Android.
