How Do I Add A Hero Background Image To The Hero Area?

Note:

  • The hero images are not mobile responsive. On mobile responsive versions of the site, you will only see what fits on the screen, based on the size of your image.

These are the instructions for adding a 'Hero Background Image' to your website's 'Hero Content' area. Only users who are website admins will have access to this feature.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to: http://admin.socastsrm.com/account/theme
  2. Scroll down to the 'Hero Background' section
  3. A maximum of 5 full-screen background images can be added to appear at random on browser refresh.
  4. To upload an image, click on 'Insert From Media Library'
  5. Dimensions for the 'Hero Background Images' must be a minimum of 1920px by 1080px. Recommended formats: JPG, PNG, GIF.
  6. Click the 'Save' button
