How Do I Add a Program to the Program Schedule in SoCast?

Use these steps to add new programs to your station’s program schedule.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Player > Program Schedule or visit: http://admin.socastsrm.com/program.
- Click Add Program.
- Complete the required fields (marked with *):
- Name: Enter the name of the program you are setting up (e.g., "John and Jane in the Morning").
- Description: Add a short description of your show (optional).
- Page: Choose one of the following:
- Internal Page: Select an internal page from the dropdown to link your program to a page on your site.
- External Link: Enter an external URL to link your program to another website.
- Program Image: Select an image for this program by clicking Add From Media Library.
- Recommended maximum width: 1100 px
- Recommended minimum width: 510 px (for best display in the SoCast mobile app, if applicable)
- Image format: JPG, PNG, or GIF
- This image appears in the Program Schedule List widget, the On Air Now widget on your website, and in the SoCast mobile app navigation menu.
- If no image is added, your account logo will be used by default.
- Schedule: Choose one of the following, then click Add Time Slot to set the dates and times for this show.
- Recurring Program: The program repeats at the same time on selected days (e.g., John and Jane in the Morning, 6 AM–10 AM).
- One-Time Program: The program occurs only once (e.g., Christmas Classics with John, Sunday 3 PM–5 PM).
- Click Save to create the program.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add additional programs.
- To arrange the order of your programs, go to Player > Program Schedule and use the Display Order module in the right column. Drag and drop the programs to your preferred order.
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
