How Do I Add Text to a Social Media Post Using SoCast?

Note:
  • The social tool has been updated to reflect Twitter's new limit of 280 Characters.


These are the instructions for creating and sending out a social media post through the SoCast publishing tool with text only .

Asking questions encourage interaction and tell people their opinions matter. When you ask for feedback or thoughts, make sure to respond in the comments so people know you're listening.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to: admin.socastsrm.com
  2. Click on the ‘Social’ tab

  3. Click the ‘Compose’ button



  4. Notice the compose post modal slides in from the left of the social streams vertically
  5. To compose a post select which social network(s) you want to post too.



  6. Add text of post



  7. All social posting options have their own collapsible containers (i.e. add a picture, add a link, add a tag, target audience, schedule post)
  8. Expanding a container reveals options
  9. User can cancel an option by clicking the close button that collapses the container.
  10. When the container is collapsed, it will reset all settings within the container so when it’s next opened, it will be blank.
  11. Click the Post button or schedule a post for later.
