How Do I Add "X" (Twitter) to My SoCast Account?

These instructions explain how to add an X (formerly Twitter) profile to your SoCast account so you can publish directly to X using the Social Publishing tool.

Who Is This For?

• All users with a SoCast account (login and password)
• Applicable to all SoCast themes

Requirements

You will need the login and password for your personal and/or station Twitter (X) account.

Important

This feature is currently unavailable due to ongoing changes with X (formerly known as Twitter). Our team is actively monitoring the situation and working to resolve the issue. We appreciate your patience as we await the finalization of X’s updates to their API.

Step-By-Step Guide

1. Log in at admin.socastsrm.com, then go to Social > Social Settings.

2. Scroll to the Twitter section.

   

3. Under Twitter, click Sign In With Twitter.

4. When prompted, sign in to your Twitter (X) account. If you have the brand account credentials, you can add your brand’s or station’s account.

5. After signing in, authorize the SoCast Twitter app.

   

6. Click Authorize.

7. Back in Social Settings, you should see your Twitter profile picture and account name.

8. To add additional Twitter accounts, click Add Another and repeat the steps.

   

9. Click Save to complete the process.
