How Do I Change the News Category Displayed in the Latest Posts Section in SoCast Engage?

If you want to change the news category on a page:

  1. Log in to SoCast Engage.

  2. Go to Website > Pages > All Pages.

  3. Search for and edit the page where you need to change the news category.

  4. Switch to Backend Editor.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of WPBakery and edit the Blog List widget or section settings.

  6. In the Category Selection area, choose the desired news category (e.g., Taste of Country).

    • You can select multiple categories if you want to display posts from more than one category.

  7. Save your changes.

If you want to change the news category on a blog post:

  1. Log in to SoCast Engage.

  2. Go to Website > Blogs > Blog Posts.

  3. Search for and edit the blog post where you need to change the news category.

  4. Switch to Backend Editor.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of WPBakery and edit the Blog List widget or section settings.

  6. In the Categories section, select the desired news category (e.g., Taste of Country).

    • You can select multiple categories if you want the post to appear in more than one category.

  7. Save your changes.


The Latest Posts section will now display posts from the selected categories. If you need to update the categories in the future, repeat these steps. Please note that this section displays the latest posts only and does not support trending content at this time.
