How Do I Export My Website Member Database in SoCast?

These instructions are for exporting your account/station’s members. You can have it sent to your email, where you can save or print as a CSV file.

Features

  • By using a 2-step process of first exporting and then sending an email to the user, this removes the possibility of anyone other than the user (such as an outside source) from gaining access to and sharing member information.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to: Admin.socastsrm.com
  2. Log in
  3. Go to: Members
  4. If desired, create a filter to sort members by, or export the entire member database.
  5. Click the [Export ] button

  6. Popup Window- A popup window will appear with the message “An email will be sent to name@station.com containing a link to download member CSV file”



  7. Click the [ OK ] button. Once complete a message will appear saying “Email has been sent”



  8. Check the inbox of the user the email was sent too, and click the link provided to download a CSV of the file. Within 24 hours or once you have downloaded the file, the link will no longer be accessible
