Follow these steps to improve your image search results in the SoCast Media Library:
Suggestions to Improve Image Searchability in Search Engines
- Navigate to Website > Media Library.
- Click on the image you want to update.
- Title: Use keywords that are accurate, relevant to the image, and easy to search for.
- Alternative Text: Enter descriptive text that will appear when the image is hovered over. This text is also saved with the image and helps with accessibility and search engine optimization.
- Caption:
- If you are using images from the SoCast Stock Image Library (Flickr), leave the caption field for copyright credit.
- If you are using a non-stock image, include a caption that is relevant to the image.
- Description: Add a brief description (135–160 characters) that will appear in image search engines.

- File URL: This field will autofill based on the location where the image is uploaded.
- Media Categories: Assign categories to help organize and filter your images within the SoCast Media Library.
