How Do I Manage My Homepage Navigation?

  2. This is applicable to: All themes

These instructions are for managing/adding/deleting a page to your website's navigation.

Step-by-step guide

This is the way to add or remove pages from your website’s navigation

Home Page Navigation

  1. Go to website>pages
  2. Over on the right hand side of the page is the navigation section.
  3. Move down the Home Page Section
  4. Move the drop down menu to select one page to be assigned as a home page.

Adding/Subtracting Menu Navigation

  1. First Select if you want your navigation on the primary (top of the page) or the footer (bottom of the page)
  2. To add a Navigation Item go and click add menu item.
  3. Under this menu you can choose to add an existing page, a link or a promotion you have created.
  4. Select page to add a current page to your navigation
  5. You can select which page to add to the navigation
  6. Under Target you can select if you want to add the page to your current browser window or have the navigation item open an additional browser window.
  7. You can set a period of time to publish your navigation page by adding dates under publish and removal dates. This would used for limited time promotions or contests with a finite window of time.
  8. Select page to add a link to your navigation
  9. You have to name your link under the title menu.
  10. You can select what link to add to the navigation
  11. Under Target you can select if you want to add the page to your current browser window or have the navigation item open an additional browser window.

  21. All your Navigation items will be listed below when you add them to the Navigation
  22. To make a navigation item have an additional sub navigation you need to move pages you want on that sub navigation to the right on the navigation menu to create this ie if you look at how Buy & Sell and Real Estate listing are shifted to the right out of all navigation items.
