How Do I Manage My Homepage Navigation in SoCast?

Follow these instructions to manage, add, or delete pages from your website's navigation.

Step-by-Step Guide

Set Your Homepage

1. Go to Website > Pages.
2. On the right-hand side, locate the Navigation section.
3. Scroll down to the Home Page section.
4. Use the dropdown menu to select the page you want to assign as your homepage.

Add or Remove Menu Navigation Items

1. Select whether you want your navigation to appear in the Primary (top of the page) or Footer (bottom of the page) area.
2. To add a navigation item, click Add Menu Item.
3. Choose to add an existing page, a link, or a promotion you have created.
4. To add a current page, select Page and choose the desired page to add to your navigation.

6. Under Target, choose whether the navigation item opens in the current browser window or a new one.
7. Set publish and removal dates if you want the navigation item to appear only for a limited time (ideal for promotions or contests).
8. To add a link, select Link. Enter a name for your link under the Title field, and specify the URL.

10. Again, you can set the target window and schedule publish and removal dates for the link.
11. To add a promotion, select Promotion and choose the promotion you want to add to the navigation.

13. Set the target window and schedule publish and removal dates as needed.
14. All your navigation items will be listed below as you add them.
15. To create subnavigation (a dropdown menu), drag the desired page(s) to the right beneath the main navigation item. For example, "Buy & Sell" and "Real Estate Listing" can be shifted to the right to appear as subnavigation items.
