How Do I Obtain Mobile App Analytics?

Requirements:

  1. Access to your company’s Apple App Store Connect Account and Google Play Console Account is needed
Mobile App Content Analytics will be changing to Google Firebase in 2021 with the update and release of SoCast’s New Native Mobile Apps.

How do I obtain download/ install analytics for my Apple iOS Apps?

  1. Log in to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/login

  2. Select App Analytics

  3. Select the App you wish to review in-depth analytics for

  4. In the top right set your date filter for the period of analytics you wish to review

How do I obtain download/install analytics for my Google Play Android Apps?

  1. Log in to https://play.google.com/console

  2. Note on the dashboard you’ll see each app listed and the Installed Audience over the last 30 days

  3. For further in-depth analytics click the app you wish to review

  4. Click Store Presence> Store Analysis> Conversion Analysis for an overview of analytics on that specific app depending on the analytics you wish to obtain

  5. Click Statistics in the top left and filter by date and geographics or demographics as you see fit

  6. Lastly on the main dashboard where all apps are shown, on the left click Download Reports> Statistics to download your app analytics in CSV format

For In-App Content Specific App Analytics SoCast can provide a 1 Month high level overview of base metrics from within the mobile app on a request basis. This report is in a standard, non customizable format and can only be provided for the most recent month previous to the time of your request.
You can request a previous month In-App analytics report by email support@socastdigital.com and indicate your Broadcast Company Name, Call Letters and App Name.


*Note- in 2021 if you require In-App Content Analytics, we will transition your Mobile App(s) to individual Google Firebase accounts managed directly by you. Further instructions and details will be provided at the appropriate time.
