How do I optimize my thumbnail when I share my blog post to Facebook?

You may experience instances where the thumbnail on the blog post that you want to share on Facebook is incorrect, or the format might not be what you expect. Facebook prefers images that are 1200x630 pixels. It will often make its own decision about which image to use, and if it finds another image on the page that is larger, it will use that instead. To resolve this issue, try resizing and upscaling the featured image to a larger size.


Step-by-step guide


1. Go to the blog post and click the “Crop Thumbnails” button.



2. Crop the thumbnail specifically for Facebook. The system will automatically resize it for Facebook.



3. Click the “Refresh Facebook Preview” button to test if the change is properly reflected on Facebook.


4. Once you see the correct thumbnail appear, you can share the blog post by clicking "Share this page."
