How Do I Remove Reviews & Old Comments On My App?

This Article Is For:

  • Clients who have purchased the SoCast Mobile App
  • This is applicable to all themes/apps

Requirements:

  • Must have admin access to the iOS App and/or Play Store
  • App must be in 'Prepare For Submission' or 'Rejected' state in the app store

These are the instructions for re-setting the rating on your mobile app.

For iOS Apps:

  1. In the iOS app store scroll down to 'Reset iOS Summary Rating'
  2. Select the option 'Reset rating when this version is released'. Note: this can only be done before an app is submitted. Once an app has been submitted and/or approved this option will no longer exist.
  3. Click 'Save'
  4. Although this option will reset the app rating, there is no guarantee or mention that it will remove previous reviews or comments.
