How Do I Send Out A Push Notification?(New)

This Article Is For:

  • All users who have: Manage Mobile App Notifications Permissions
  • This is applicable to: Single Tenant App & Multi-Tenant App

Requirements:

  • Station/brand have already purchased the SoCast Mobile App package
  • Have been given the above listed permissions by your SoCast Account Manager.

Tips:

  • Keep your key message in the first 100 characters – users may not see the rest
  • Recommend sending no more than one per day for news, and once per week for music unless it’s being driven by a major event (e.g. Player Trade, Concert)

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to http://admin.socastsrm.com/mobile/notifications and click “Add Items”
  2. Select the Group (i.e. subscription list), Message, URL and Publish date



  3. Confirm you wish the notification to be sent
