How Do I Set Up My App's Feature Rotator in the SoCast Mobile App?

The Feature Rotator lets you showcase key content at the top of all Activity Streams in your SoCast Mobile App. Follow the steps below to set it up.

Who Is This Article For?

• Users who have permission to manage Mobile App Settings and the Feature Rotator.

Requirements

• Your station or brand must have purchased the SoCast Mobile App package.
• You must have the necessary permissions from your SoCast Account Manager.

Notes

• The Feature Rotator appears below the Now Playing module if Last Played is enabled for the Activity Stream.
• The feature title or subtitle appears below the feature image, if available.
• Swipe right to display the next feature, if available.
• Swipe left to display the previous feature, if available.
• Tapping a feature with a link opens it in the in-app browser.
• Tapping a feature marker updates the active feature display.
• The Feature Rotator scrolls with the Activity Stream content.
• The Feature Rotator size adjusts to the device width.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Go to http://admin.socastsrm.com/mobile.
2. Scroll to the Feature Rotator section.
3. Select an existing Feature Rotator from the drop-down menu, or create a new one.
4. To create a new Feature Rotator, follow the instructions here.
