How Do I Set-Up My App's Format?

This Article Is For:

  • Users who have been given permission to manage Mobile App Settings
  • This is applicable to: Single Tenant App & Multi-Tenant App

Requirements:

  • Station/brand have already purchased the SoCast Mobile App package
  • Have been given the above listed permissions by your SoCast Account Manager.

These are the instructions for choosing your mobile app's format. This will determine how your app appears to listeners.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to: http://admin.socastsrm.com/mobile
  2. Under: Vitals > Account Format
  3. Choose from one of the following options:
    1. News : If your website is currently using the 'News' format, then we suggest choosing the news option for your app as well
    2. Music : If your website is currently using the 'music' format, then we suggest choosing the music option for your app as well
    3. Multi-Tenant : If your website hosts more than one radio stream, then Multi-Tenant is the suggested format.
