How Do I Set Up the Default Blog List Ad Frequency in SoCast?

This article explains how to set the default blog list ad frequency in SoCast. Only users with advertising permissions can access this feature.
The default blog list ad frequency controls how many blog articles appear above an ad in single-column layouts. In multi-column layouts, the ad will always display at the bottom of the list. To disable blog list ads entirely, set the frequency to none.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Settings > Advertising Settings > Blog Advertising > Ad Frequency, or open http://admin.socastsrm.com/advertising/blog.
- Scroll to the Default Blog List Ad Position field (this is where you set the default frequency/position).
- Enter your preferred setting:
- Enter a number (for example, 3) to show that many articles above the ad in single-column layouts.
- Use top to place the ad at the top of the list.
- Use bottom to place the ad at the bottom of the list.
- Use none to disable blog list ads.
Note: In multi-column layouts, the ad always displays at the bottom of the list, regardless of the number you enter.
