How to Update Google Chrome

Google Chrome usually updates automatically. To check for updates or update manually, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
  2. Click the Customize and Control Google Chrome button Chrome Menu Icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select About Google Chrome.
  4. The window that appears will automatically check for updates and display your current version of Chrome.

Tip: You can also type chrome://settings/help into the Chrome address bar (Omnibox) to open the same update screen.
