How to Update Google Chrome
- Google Chrome usually updates automatically. To check for updates or update manually, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Chrome browser.
- Click the Customize and Control Google Chrome button
in the upper right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select About Google Chrome.
- The window that appears will automatically check for updates and display your current version of Chrome.
- Tip: You can also type
chrome://settings/helpinto the Chrome address bar (Omnibox) to access the same update screen. - Note: If you're running a very old version of Chrome, you may need to visit the official Chrome download page to get the latest version.
