How Do I View Or Reply To A Twitter Conversation Or Comment?



This Article Is For:
  • All users who have a SoCast account (Login & Password)
  • All users who have access to the 'SRM' feature
  • This is applicable to all SoCast Themes

These are the instructions for viewing and replying to Twitter conversations or comments.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to the Social > Social Posts > Monitoring

  2. If you do not have an Twitter stream added, please add one first. For further instruction please see: How Do I Configure A Social Stream? (New)

  3. Reply : To respond to a Twitter post, click on "Reply".
    1. A pop-up window will open
    2. Select which Twitter account you'd like to reply from
    3. Type your message

  4. Twitter Streams: Twitter Conversations & Retweets

  5. Retweet : To retweet a Twitter post, click on 'retweet'
    1. A pop-up window will open
    2. Select which Twitter account you'd like to reply from

  6. Like As : Twitter "Favorite" actions have been re-labelled as "Like" for consistency with native Twitter. You may select which account you want to 'like' the post from the dropdown

  7. Share : Share a tweet by clicking on the 'share' button
    1. A pop-up window will open
    2. Select which Twitter or Facebook account you'd like to share the post to

  8. Clicking on the "Back" arrow in the header of the stream view returns the stream to its previous contents

Notes :

  1. Verified badges will display for verified Twitter accounts.

  2. Tweets with multiple images will be displayed in Twitter streams

  3. Existing "Favorite" and "Share" actions in the Twitter "Messages" stream have been replaced with "Reply" and "Delete"
