How Do I View or Reply to a Twitter Conversation or Comment in SoCast?

Who Is This Article For?

• All users with a SoCast account (login and password)
• All users with access to the Social Relationship Management (SRM) feature
• Applicable to all SoCast themes

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to Social > Social Posts > Monitoring in your SoCast dashboard.
2. If you have not yet added a Twitter stream, please add one first. For instructions, see: How Do I Configure a Social Stream? (New).
3. Reply: To respond to a Twitter post:
   1. Click on Reply.
   2. A pop-up window will open.
   3. Select the Twitter account you want to reply from.
   4. Type your message and send.
4. Retweet: To retweet a Twitter post:
   1. Click on Retweet.
   2. A pop-up window will open.
   3. Select the Twitter account you want to retweet from.
5. Like As: Twitter's "Favorite" action is now labeled as "Like" for consistency with native Twitter. You can select which account you want to like the post from using the dropdown menu.
6. Share: To share a tweet:
   1. Click on the Share button.
   2. A pop-up window will open.
   3. Select the Twitter or Facebook account you want to share the post to.
7. To return to the previous stream view, click the Back arrow in the header of the stream view.

Notes

• Verified badges will display for verified Twitter accounts.
• Tweets with multiple images will be displayed in Twitter streams.
• The previous "Favorite" and "Share" actions in the Twitter "Messages" stream have been replaced with "Reply" and "Delete" options.
