Step 1: Log In to SoCast
Go to admin.socastsrm.com and log in with your credentials.
Step 2: Gather Required Information
- How many markets are you setting up Ads Accounts for?
- What timezone should each market be in?
- Which salespeople will be selling in each market? (Include full names and emails.)
Step 3: Access the Campaigns Dashboard
Click on your Market (e.g., Ad Extension - Radio 88.8). Then select Advertising Campaigns and click Campaigns.
Step 4: Build a New Proposal or Campaign
- In the Campaigns section, click Add New.
- If you are building a campaign for a new advertiser, click Add New Advertiser.

- Select the Industry Segment (e.g., Automotive).
- Assign the Lead Sales Person for this account.
- Click Save and exit the tab.
- Return to the original tab where you were building the proposal. Search for the advertiser you just saved; their URL should appear automatically.

Marketing Objectives
- Select the Primary Goal of the campaign (e.g., Awareness, Consideration, Conversion).
- Choose a Secondary Goal (options vary based on your primary goal).
- Select the Channel (e.g., Google Display Ads, Facebook/Instagram, OTT/CTV Ads) that aligns with your goals.
Target Audience
- Click Add Location to specify where your ad will run. You can add multiple locations as needed.
- Search by Country, State/Province, City, or Zip/Postal Code.
- Optionally, set a radius around each location and click Apply Update.
- Remove locations by clicking Remove Location.
- Wait for the geo-map to load before saving or generating a proposal.
- Set the Minimum Age, Maximum Age (optional), Gender, and Household Income (optional).

Schedule and Budget
- Select the Start Date and End Date for the campaign.
- Enter the Total Net Budget (minimum media cost is $250.00).
- Adjust the Broadcaster Markup if approved by management and SoCast. Otherwise, leave it at the default setting.
Campaign Details
- Customize the Campaign Name if needed.
- Add any Additional Notes for Operations.
- Review the Campaign Forecast for estimated rates, impressions, clicks, and CTR%.
Important: Click Save regularly to avoid losing your work.
Step 5: Generate a Proposal
- Scroll to the top of the campaign. Under Campaign Actions on the right, click Generate Proposal. This process takes 10–30 seconds.
- The campaign will switch to the Proposal tab, where you will find a link to a Google Slides Presentation of your proposal.
- Click the blue text below the proposal preview to open it in Google Slides. You can customize the presentation as needed (e.g., delete unnecessary pages, add client logos, or include key information).
Cloning a Campaign
- If a client wants multiple channels (e.g., Social Media Ads + Display Ads), use the Clone Campaign button. This copies all information and creates a new campaign, which you can then edit as needed (e.g., change channel, targeting, budget, or dates).
Changing Campaign Details
- To edit campaign details, click Change Details under Campaign Actions. This puts your campaign back into draft mode for editing.
- Click Save when done, then Update Proposal to generate a new proposal. Note: If you have customized the original proposal in Google Slides, updating will replace it. To keep the original, create a copy in Google Slides before updating.
