How to Create an Ad Space in AdNext and Insert the Code into the SoCast Engage Platform

Requirements:

  • Users must have admin access to AdNext

Step-by-step instructions

1. Hover over "AdNext Menu" and click "Create/Edit Sizes".

   - Select the station from the dropdown menu. This will show you the ads the station currently has.


Note: From here, if you need to delete an ad space, just click ‘delete’ If you need to get the code for that adspace, click ‘view code.’ Once you click on that, you’ll see this:

2. Get the Code for an Ad Space:

   - If you need to get the code for an ad space, click "View Code."

   - Change the code from:

How to create a new ad slot?

1. Click "New" and then select the station from the dropdown menu. Click "Select."


2. On the next screen, create the ad space name, and then enter the width and height.

3. Click "Normal" and then "Next."

4. This will generate the code, which you will then input into the backend of the site so the client can upload their ads.




How to Insert the AdNext Code in the SoCast Engage Platform


1. Inserting Code Site-Wide:

   - Go to the SoCast Engage platform.

   - Navigate to Website > Website Settings > General.

   - Paste the code in the custom HTML head, body, or footer section, depending on where you want it to appear site-wide.


2. Inserting Code in a Single Page:

   - Go to Website > Page > All Pages.

   - Search for the page or create a new page where you want the AdNext ad code to go.

   - Switch to the backend editor.

   - In the WPBakery Page Builder, click the "+" sign and search for the Raw HTML widget.

   - Paste the AdNext code in the Raw HTML widget.

   - Click "Save" and then update the page.


3. Inserting Code in Pre-Created Ad Units:

   - Navigate to Website > Website Settings > Advertising > Ad Units.

   - Configure the ad code for the ad units that appear on this website. Click the pencil icon next to the ad unit where you want to paste the ad code.

   - Hit "Save" in the ad units code, then hit "Save" one more time in the advertising section.
