What Should I Do If iTunes Asks Me to Sign Documents Before Uploading Apps?
Who Is This Article For?
- Users who have permission to manage Mobile App Settings.
- Applicable to both Single Tenant and Multi-Tenant Apps.
Requirements
- Your station or brand must have purchased the SoCast Mobile App package.
- You must have the necessary permissions from your SoCast Account Manager.
- You must have admin access to your company’s iTunes account.
Overview
If you see a message in your iTunes account asking you to sign documents before apps can be uploaded, it means Apple requires someone at your company to accept updated legal agreements. This is necessary for SoCast to continue updating or uploading your apps.

Steps to Resolve
-
Sign in to your iTunes developer account using your usual credentials:
https://developer.apple.com/account
-
Review and accept any agreements that are flagged for your attention.
-
Sign in to your iTunes Connect account using the same credentials:
itunesconnect.apple.com/WebObjects/iTunesConnect.woa
-
Click on Agreements, Tax and Banking in the main menu.
-
Click on Request next to any pending agreements.
-
Accept the agreement. Once completed, notify SoCast that the agreement has been signed. We will then be able to continue uploading or updating your apps in the App Store.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact your SoCast Account Manager or our support team.
