Why Won't My SoCast Proposal Generate or Save? Troubleshooting Tips for Radio Broadcasters

If you're experiencing issues with the SoCast Proposal Generator not generating or saving your proposal, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. GeoMap Hasn't Loaded

The most common reason the proposal builder won't allow you to generate a proposal is that the GeoMap hasn't fully loaded. The GeoMap can take several minutes to load all locations. Please wait until all locations have loaded. If it takes too long, try deleting the location, re-entering it, and clicking Apply. This often speeds up the loading process. Once the GeoMap is loaded, you should be able to generate your proposal.

2. Check the Advertiser Logo

Ensure the advertiser logo under Advertisers meets these requirements:

• The file must be in JPG, PNG, or GIF format.
• The file name cannot contain spaces.

Examples:

• SoCast Logo.PNG (will not generate on the proposal)
• SoCast_Logo.PNG (will generate on the proposal)
• Files in .webp or .svg format are not supported. Change the file format to JPG, PNG, or GIF and try again.

3. Missing Information

The SoCast Proposal Generator may display an error code if required fields are missing. Double-check that all mandatory fields are filled out correctly, then try to generate the proposal again.

4. Check the Flight Dates

If the campaign's start date is set to a past date, the proposal will not save. Update the start date to a current or future date and try saving again.

5. Campaign Goals

Be sure to select the appropriate campaign goals in the proposal builder. Without this, you will not be able to save the campaign.

6. Channel Selection

You must choose an appropriate channel for your ads in order to save the proposal.
