How Do I Configure Podcast Settings in the SoCast Mobile App?

Requirements
- You must have purchased the SoCast Podcast Package. If you would like to add podcasts, please speak to a SoCast Specialist.
- You must already have a SoCast mobile app.
- You must have a Podcast RSS Feed URL in MP3 or AAC format. The feed URL format varies by provider (e.g., http://www.url.com/path/feedname.xml or itpc://www.url.com/path/feedname.rss).
Notes
- The podcast list is shared between all streams for multi-tenant apps, allowing listeners to access podcasts from different streams.
How to Enable Podcasts
- Enable Podcasts in the Mobile App: Use the dropdown menu to select Enabled so users can see and interact with podcasts in the mobile app. To configure the podcast link in the navigation, go to the Mobile App Navigation Settings.
How to Add and Manage Podcast Feeds
Help your listeners find and stream your podcasts by configuring individual settings for each feed. You can drag to reorder the display of feeds in the podcast list.
Important: Always confirm you have permission to use any podcast feed to avoid usage violations or copyright infringements.
- Click Add Feed. Podcasts must be provided as a valid and publicly accessible RSS feed URL that is used to display episodes on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher, TuneIn, and other podcast platforms.
You can add up to 30 podcast feeds.
- Podcast Feed Name: Enter a name for your podcast feed (maximum 25 characters). Use feed names to specify branding and differentiate between feeds, such as a consolidated station feed, program/DJ feed, tenant feed, or special segment feed.
- Podcast RSS Feed URL: Add your podcast feed URL. The format varies by provider, for example: http://www.url.com/path/feedname.xml or itpc://www.url.com/path/feedname.rss.
- Click the Save button.
