SoCast Premium Content Feeds FAQ's & Info

SoCast Premium Content Feeds FAQ's & Info

SoCast Premium RSS Feeds are an additional add-on and can be purchased per brand/station. Reach out to SoCast Support or your SoCast Sales Representative for more information.

SoCast’s Premium RSS Feeds offer content that automatically updates your website with music and entertainment news. Our RSS feeds publish every weekday, Monday through Friday, to make sure that you have all of the biggest stories of the day.

Clients can choose the format that best suits their needs from Country, Rock, CHR, Urban, AC, Classic Rock or Classic Hits. We also offer a full Entertainment feed that includes gossip and industry news.

Below are some common questions and concerns regarding the premium feeds.

  1. Do I need a SoCast website in order to use the feeds?
    1. No. You may purchase them and use them just for your SoCast mobile app, if you are an app only client.
  2. Why do some of the articles not have images?
    1. The article images are provided by a licensed 3rd party vendor. If they do not have a licensed image to go with the article, then no image is added in order to adhere to copyright laws.
  3. What should I do if I suspect an article has the wrong image?
    1. You have the ability to edit the article within the blogs section of SoCast. We recommend removing the featured image if you suspect it does not match the article. If you notice the issue immediately, there is a chance we can get it updated by the 3rd party if you reach out to the support desk (although there is a limited time frame), otherwise we recommend just removing it.
  4. What if there is an article I don't want or like?
    1. You can delete the article within the blogs section of SoCast, which will remove it permanently.
