SoCast Reach Sales Enablement: Cloning Line Items
This process is usually done by the sales person.
Once your campaign is created, you'll now have the ability to clone multiple line items.
Some things to consider when cloning items:
The latest default base rate is always used to generate new forecasts
This may result in a discrepancy between a cloned forecast and the original forecast if the rate was changed when the forecast was cloned
Custom markups are always reset back to their corresponding default markup values
The default markup is always used to generate new forecasts to ensure that markups are applied responsibly with intent
This is to prevent specific discounts/deals from being unintentionally reapplied, which can result in revenue loss.
Custom forecasts are always reset back to default (empty) for line items without base rates available
This is to prevent outdated rates and performance metrics from being unintentionally reapplied, which can result in revenue loss, as well as conflict with advertisers when actual performance differs from the estimated performance.
