This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to create campaigns in DSPs using SoCast Reach, a powerful advertising platform. By following these instructions, you will be able to effectively set up and manage your campaigns to achieve your advertising goals.


Prerequisites:

Before you begin, make sure you have a valid account and are logged in to SoCast Reach. If you haven’t registered yet, please contact us to create an account.

Step 1: Logging in to SoCast Reach

To start creating campaigns, follow these steps:

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to the SoCast Reach login page at [https://admin.socastsrm.com/].

  2. Enter your credentials (username and password) to log in to your SoCast Reach account.

  3. Once logged in, you will be redirected to the dashboard.


Step 2: Selecting the Company and Account


  1. After logging in, you need to choose the appropriate company and account:

  2. In the top-left corner of the screen, locate the Company drop-down menu.

  3. Click on the Company drop-down menu and select the desired company.

  4. Next to the Company drop-down menu, find the Account drop-down menu.

  5. Click on the Account drop-down menu and select the relevant account.


Step 3: Accessing the Campaigns Section


  1. Now that you have selected the appropriate company and account, follow these steps to access the campaigns section:

  2. Locate the “Advertising Campaigns” drop-down menu, located in the main navigation bar.

  3. Click on the “Campaigns” option from the drop-down menu.


Step 4: Accessing the Campaign Details


To access the Campaign Details, follow these steps:


  1. In the Campaigns section, you will see a list of existing campaigns. 

  2. You will be redirected to the Campaign details page. Here, you will find multiple sections required for campaign creation.

    1. Campaign Information:

      1. Campaign Name: A descriptive name for your campaign.

      2. Campaign ID: A unique identifier to your campaign.

      3. Sales Person: The salesperson responsible for the campaign.

      4. Market: Indicates the target market for your campaign.

      5. Additional Notes: Includes any additional relevant information about the campaign.

    2. Advertiser Information:

      1. Advertiser: The name of the advertiser associated with the campaign.

      2. Website URL: The URL of the advertiser’s website.

      3. Advertiser’s Industry Segment(s): The industry segment(s) relevant to the advertiser.

    3. Schedule & Budget:

      1. Start Date: The start date for the campaign.

      2. End Date: The end date for the campaign.

      3. Total Net Budget: The total budget allocated for the campaign.

    4. Marketing Objective(s):

      1. Primary Goal(s): The primary goals for your campaign.

    5. Media Plan and Line Items:

      1. Under the “Media Plan” section, you will find line items representing different tactics and products.


Step 5: Accessing the Line Item details


To access the Line Item details, follow these steps: 


  1. Under the Campaign Details click on the desired line item. 

  2. You will be redirected to the line item details page. Here, you will find multiple line item details required for the campaign: 

    1. Line Item: A descriptive name of the line item.

    2. Primary Goal: The primary goal for the line item.

    3. Secondary Goal: Specifies any secondary goals for the line item.

    4. Product: Indicates the product associated with the line item.

    5. Budget: The budget for the line item.

      1. Line Item Budget: Specifies the line item's budget.

    6. Markup: Sets the markup for the line item.

    7. Target Audience Information: Defines the target audience for the line item.

  1. Intent/Affinity Audiences: Specify intent or affinity audiences for targeting.

  2. Location(s): Defines the targeted location(s).

  3. Age Range: Specifies the age range of the target audience.

  4. Gender(s): Indicates the gender(s) of the target audience.

  5. Household Income: Specifies the target audience’s household income.

  6. Language(s): Defines the preferred language(s) of the target audience.

  7. Estimated Total Reach: Provides an estimate of the total reach for the line item.

  8. Affinity Audience(s): Specifies affinity audiences for targeting.

  9. Intent Audience(s): Defines intent audiences for targeting.

  10. Display or Search Keywords: Sets relevant keywords for display or search targeting.

  1. Forecasted Deliverables: Provides forecasted deliverables for the line item.

    1. Rate: Sets the rate for the line item.

    2. Rate Set: Chooses the appropriate rate set.

    3. Impressions: Specifies the forecasted number of impressions.

    4. Clicks: Defines the forecasted number of clicks.

    5. CTR: Provides the forecasted click-through rate.
