How Do I Download User Entries From a Contest in SoCast?
Who Is This Article For?
- All users with 'Promotions' permissions
- Applicable to all SoCast themes
Requirements
- If you have transitioned to SoCast via Promosuite, you will not have access to the contesting feature. Please contact Promosuite for more information.
Tips
- Your contest export will include all columns, even if more than the seven shown in the user entry display in the SoCast back-end.
- A (1) in your contest CSV beside a checkbox question indicates a 'yes' answer.
- If the checkbox is empty, it means the user either did not fill in that field or answered 'no.'
These instructions explain how to download user entries from a contest. For details on downloading media, please see: Step #8: Download Media Content From a Contest.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to the Promotions tab.
- Click on Contests.
- Select either a current or past contest.
- Enter the back-end of the selected contest.
- Scroll down to the User Entries tab.
- Filter the entries by group (e.g., approved, unapproved) or select All Entries.
- Click Filter.
- When ready to export, click the blue Export button.
- You will receive an email at the address associated with your SoCast account. This email will contain a link to download the contest entries CSV file.
