How Do I change the Hero in Theme 3.0?

This Article Is For:

  1. Clients with access to the Theme 3.0
  2. Users who have the ‘Manage Heroes’ permission

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Website > Website Settings > Theme > Theme Editor > Heroes

  2. Configure the website hero and the appearance of all heroes featured on specific pages. All heroes appear above the content area.

  3. Website Hero : Select a hero that appears throughout the entire website. Can be used for branding, promotions, a call to action, current information, etc.

    1. Click ‘Add New Hero’ to create a new hero, or click ‘Manage Heroes’ to manage existing ones.

  4. Website Hero Width : Sets the maximum width of the content and background for the website hero. Use the drop-down options and preview to see changes. The maximum width is determined by the ‘Default Website Width’ option selected in Website Settings > Theme Editor > Website Template. See: Theme 3.0: Website Template Settings

  5. Hero Width : Sets the maximum width of the content and background within all individual heroes featured on specific pages. Use the drop-down options and preview to see changes.

  6. Hero Position : Sets the position of the all individual heroes featured on specific pages relative to the website hero. Individual heroes appears below the header ad, website ticker, and/or website menu if the same position has also been selected for those items. Use the drop-down options and preview to see changes.

  7. Once done configurations, click ‘publish’.
