This article provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your website's vitals in SoCast. Website vitals are essential settings that help define your station's online presence and improve search engine optimization (SEO).

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Website Name: Enter the name of your website. (e.g., Radio ABC)
  2. Website Domain: Before your website is launched, this field will be automatically filled with a preview domain provided by SoCast. When you're ready to launch, replace the preview domain with your station's actual domain. (e.g., www.domain.com)
  3. Website Preview URL: This URL allows you to view your website before it goes live on your official domain.
  4. Website Redirect: Use this setting to redirect other domains to your main website domain. For example: domain.com, www.domain.com, beta.domain.com, www.olddomain.com.
  5. City: Enter the city associated with your station or office.
  6. Description: Add a description for SEO purposes. This should briefly describe your station. (e.g., RadioABC is a rock station in City Name, Country)
  7. Keywords: Add keywords or tags that you want associated with your site for search engines.
  8. Custom Meta Tags: These tags appear inside the <head> section of your website. You can insert macro templates for further customization.
  9. Custom Header HTML: Enter custom HTML for your website’s header. Macro templates can be used for advanced customization.
  10. Custom Footer HTML: Enter custom HTML for your website’s footer. Macro templates are also supported here.
  11. Custom Fields: Define custom fields that can be used on any page and referenced in your website's custom header HTML, custom footer HTML, and ad codes.
