How Do I Customize Templates and Branding in SoCast Email?

How Do I Customize Templates and Branding?

Starting from a template

Every account starts with a set of starter templates you can use as a base for a new campaign, so you're not starting from a blank page every time.

  1. When creating a new campaign (Promotions → Email → Email Campaigns), choose a starter template, or start a new one and save it as a reusable template once you're happy with it.
  2. Saved templates appear under Promotions → Email → Email Templates for reuse on future campaigns.

Station branding placeholders

Rather than typing your station's name or website link into every campaign by hand, you can use placeholders that automatically fill in the right value when the email is sent — so the same template works across your account without manual edits each time. Ask your Account Manager for the current list of available placeholders for your account.

Adding your own branding

Use the page builder's WPBakery elements (image, text, button, ad, blog post list) to match your station's look and feel — the same elements used on your website. Common customizations:

  • Header image/logo
  • Brand colors on buttons and headings
  • Footer content (station contact info, social links)

Every campaign automatically includes an unsubscribe link in the footer — this is required by law (CAN-SPAM / CASL) and can't be removed. You can customize the surrounding footer content (station address, social links) but the unsubscribe link itself must stay.

Images in Outlook

If images in your newsletter don't display automatically for some recipients using Outlook, this is a known Outlook-specific display setting on the recipient's end, not an issue with your campaign — ask your Account Manager for the current workaround guidance if this comes up often for your audience.
