How Do I Edit or Delete a Blog Category in SoCast?
This article is for:
- All users with access to Blogs & Blog Categories
- Applicable to all themes
Follow these steps to edit or delete a blog category after it has been created in SoCast.
Editing a Blog Category
- Go to Website > Blogs & News.
- In the Categories section on the right side, find the category you want to edit and hover over the category name.
- Click Edit (the pencil icon) on the right.
- Update the blog category settings as needed.
Deleting a Blog Category
- Go to Website > Blogs & News.
- In the Categories section on the right side, find the category you want to delete and hover over the category name.
- Click Delete (the X icon) on the right.
- When prompted, click Delete to permanently remove the category, or Cancel to keep it.
- The category will now be deleted.
Note:
- Once a blog category is deleted, it is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. It will also be deleted from any stations or websites it was syndicated to.
