How Do I Build A Page For My Website?

  • All users who have: Manage All Pages or Manage Selected Pages Permissions
  • This is applicable to: All themes

Note

We recommend not switching back and forth between the 'Visual' tab and the 'Text' tab. This may result in loss of content, please only work in one.

These instructions are for creating a new page for your website.

How To Create A Page:

  1. Go To: Website > Pages
  2. Click ' Add New Page '
  3. Use one of the following editors to create a new web page:
    1. Classic Mode : This is a visual preview of your page. When creating a new page, you won't have any content elements. You may add from a large selection of 'elements' available.
      1. Add Element : Click or drag the ' Add Element ' button to add content elements to your page.
      2. Templates : Click the 'Templates' button, here you can either load a previously made template or save your current page as a template .



    1. Backend Editor: This editor works similar to a Microsoft Word document. Complete with a toolbar and 'kitchen sink'
      1. Visual: Content editor that allows you to create, edit, and format your blog content in a view similar to that of a word processor.
      2. Text: Editor that allows you to create, edit and format your blog with custom css & html
