If you're currently sending newsletters through iContact or Mailchimp, you can move to SoCast Email without losing your subscriber list or starting from scratch.
Because deliverability (making sure your emails land in the inbox, not spam) depends on a list having a real, recent sending history, your Account Manager will ask for evidence that your list has been actively emailed within the last 30 days — for example, a recent campaign report from your current provider. This isn't a SoCast-specific hurdle; it's standard practice across the email industry, and it protects your own sender reputation as much as anyone else's.
If your list hasn't been emailed recently, your Account Manager will recommend starting with a fresh signup campaign instead — see How Do I Get More Email Subscribers?.
Your subscribers won't need to do anything or notice a change — they'll keep receiving your newsletter as before, just sent through SoCast Email behind the scenes.
For account-specific questions about iContact or Mailchimp while you're still using them (login access, list exports, etc.), contact iContact or Mailchimp support directly, or ask your Account Manager for guidance.
