What Is The Difference Between TrueReach And TrueClick Campaigns In SoCast Reach?

TrueReach and TrueClick are two types of campaign objectives available in SoCast Reach:

  • TrueReach Campaigns: These campaigns guarantee the delivery of impressions. Clicks are considered an optional metric. If the forecasted number of impressions is not met, SoCast will offer a make-good campaign to meet the forecasted impressions and deliver an additional 10% of total impressions at no extra charge.
  • TrueClick Campaigns: These campaigns guarantee the delivery of clicks. Impressions are considered optional. If the forecasted number of clicks is not met, SoCast will match the forecast and deliver an additional 10% of clicks at no extra charge.

From a media buying perspective, only one metric (either clicks or impressions) can be guaranteed per campaign. In TrueClick campaigns, the goal is to meet or exceed the number of clicks, while impressions are estimated but not guaranteed. In TrueReach campaigns, the goal is to meet or exceed the number of impressions, while clicks are estimated but not guaranteed.
