How Do I Edit a Social Media Post in SoCast?


This Article Is For:
  • All users who have a SoCast account (Login & Password)
  • All users who have access to the 'SRM' feature
  • This is applicable to all SoCast Themes

These instructions are for editing a social post after it has already been created and scheduled for Facebook and/or Twitter

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to Social > Content Calendar (http://admin.socastsrm.com/posts/calendar)
  2. Search for your social post under the date and time that it was scheduled for



  3. Click on your post (the color coded bar)
  4. In the pop-up window click the Pencil icon ( edit )



  5. The social publisher window will slide out from the left of your screen
  6. You can now edit your social post. You can edit the following fields:
    1. Social Profiles
    2. Message
    3. Add Picture
    4. Add URL
    5. Campaign Tracking ( If this feature is available to you )
    6. Schedule Post
    7. Target Audience


  7. Once satisfied with your edits, click the ' schedule ' button
