How Do I Upload Creative Assets in SoCast Reach?

When creating your campaign in SoCast Reach, you will need to upload creative assets. Below are the recommended sizes and specifications for each ad type. Please note that a proposal or campaign cannot be submitted without creative assets.

Leaderboard

  • Dimensions: 728 x 90 pixels
  • Web Formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, or an HTML file containing the ad unit

  • Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (pillarboxing added automatically for 4:3)
  • Max File Size: 128GB or 12 hours, whichever is less

YouTube TrueView Skippable Ads

  • Companion: 300 x 60 pixels
  • File Types: JPG, static GIF, or PNG
  • If no companion ad is provided, a 300 x 250 pixel video wall will show on YouTube
  • Maximum File Size: 1KB

Video Ad Settings

  • File Formats: AVI, ASF, QuickTime, Windows Media, MP4, or MPEG
  • Preferred Video Codec: H.264, MPEG-2, or MPEG-4
  • Preferred Audio Codec: MP3 or AAC
  • Resolution: 640 x 360 pixels or 480 x 360 pixels recommended
  • Frame Rate: 30 FPS
  • Aspect Ratio: Native aspect ratio without letterboxing (e.g., 4:3, 16:9)
  • Maximum File Size: 1GB
  • Length: 12 seconds to 3 minutes
  • Skippable video ads allow viewers to skip after 5 seconds

Connected TV / OTT Specs

  • Minimum Resolution: 1280 x 720 pixels
  • Duration: 15–30 seconds or shorter
  • Format: MP4 video

Programmatic Audio Specs

  • 15–30 second audio files (MP3, WAV)
  • Companion Banner: 300 x 250 pixels
