Requirements
If you transitioned to SoCast via PromoSuite, you will not have access to the contesting feature. Please contact PromoSuite for more details.
The Contest Design tab lets you upload assets and apply custom styling to your contest. Aim for a design that is visually striking yet simple. Your contest title and header image set the tone, so use consistent designs across all promotional materials. Keep the description colorful but concise, clearly state the offer, and highlight what makes the promotion unique or exciting. Ensure background and text colors align with your brand and are easy to read. You can also use custom entry fields to collect additional information, such as a song title for a pop idol contest.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- In your SoCast dashboard, go to Promotions > Contest.
- Confirm you have already added your contest content. For help, see Step #1: Choosing a Contest Type & Adding Content.
- Scroll down and click the Design tab.
- Colors: Set the text and background colors to match your station’s branding.
- Images: Upload header, button, and page tab images.
- Header: Click Add From Media Library. For upload instructions, see How Do I Add Media Files to the Media Library?. The header image appears at the top of all contest pages (810 px wide; it will be automatically resized).
- Custom CSS: Developers can add custom CSS to further customize the design.
- Click Save and Continue to proceed to the next tab.
