How Can I Allow Listeners To Submit Audio Messages Through The Mobile App?

  1. Log in to SoCast Engage.
  2. Navigate to Website > Forms and click Create.
  3. Name your form. You may use the Contact Form template for convenience.
  4. Add an extra field: Click Insert Fields, then select File Upload (set to Single to prevent bandwidth congestion) then click Insert Fields.
  5. Edit the field labels and add a description like "Upload your voice message here."
  6. Go to Settings and mark the field as required.
  7. Set the allowed file types to audio formats only to ensure users submit voice clips.
  8. Adjust the file size limit as needed (the default server limit is 104MB).
  9. Click Apply and Publish to finalize the form.
  10. To embed the form on a page:
    1. Go to Website > Pages > All Pages and create a new page.
    2. Style the page if needed. Switch to the Backend Editor and locate the Form Widget.
    3. Select the form you just created, click Save Changes, then Publish the page.
  11. To add the page to the mobile app:
    1. Go to Mobile App > Mobile App Menu.
    2. Click Add a Menu Item and name it.
    3. Set the Content Type to Page and select the page hosting your form.
    4. Click Save.

Changes may take up to 10 minutes to reflect in the mobile app.
