How Do I Transfer a Contest Page From AMP CMS to SoCast Engage and Keep the Same URL for a QR Code?
- Log in to SoCast Engage.
- Navigate to Promotions > Contest > All Contests.
- Click Add New.
- Select the Enter a Sweepstakes template and click Use Template.
- Transfer the logo and contest descriptions from AMP CMS to the new contest entry.
- No need to create a sign-up form manually—SoCast Engage will prompt users to sign in or sign up to enter the contest.
- If you want to collect additional information (such as zip code or phone number), use the Add Entry Field section.
- Fill out all other required fields, such as Entry Period and Contest Category (you can create a new category in the right-hand sidebar).
- Click Publish to make the contest live.
- After publishing, return to Promotions > Contest > All Contests and click on the contest you just created to edit it.
- Just below the title, find the permalink and edit it to match the previous contest URL from AMP CMS (e.g.,
/summer-of-fun-with-bud-light/
).
- Click Update to save the changes. This will allow any existing QR codes pointing to the old URL to direct users to the new contest page on SoCast Engage.
Note: According to some corporate policies, all contests should be created using the contesting tool in SoCast Engage. If you need to recreate the page as a standard page instead, you may need corporate approval.
